make sure your Mobile is not connected when installing and first running of Kies, then Connect your mobile, and Kies shall recognize it and connect to it.
2- If your files are on internal memory, you have 2 ways: a either use a file explorer in your Mobile, not the built-in like ES File Manager Copy your files from internal memory to SD card called EXT-SD.
